Changes made to the backend configuration:
Currently, the Discount Code is a special Question. If the question is selected on a program, the field will display in the Participant Info section of the Registration form.
With this update, the discount code question will be removed from the UI and replaced with a checkbox setting on the Program -> Pricing tab. Discount codes can be enabled or disabled per program, by checking the box to 'Allow discount codes to be used on this program'.
On existing programs, if the discount code question was previously selected, the checkbox will be checked. If the discount code was not selected, the checkbox will be unchecked.
The behind-the-scenes behaviour will remain largely the same. The Discount Code will retain the same shortcode as previously, discount-code. Registrars can enter a Discount Code on the Quick Add Reg form. The Discount Code will be applied immediately to reduce the booking total.
Changes made to the registration form:
The functionality on the Registration form remains unchanged, however, the field has been moved from the Participant Information section to the Payment section.
