The Credit Card Fee feature has been enhanced so that it now applies to all credit card payments made through Retreat Guru - this includes installment payments, scheduled payments, charge balance due, payments made via the guest payment link and payments added by the admin using the 'Add Payment' link.
Additionally, we have added a new credit card fee icon next to payments so that it's easy to see at a glance which payments had the fees applied. This icon will only display on credit card transactions added after the release (it is not retroactive).
Here is a more detailed summary of the changes that were made:
- Credit card fees will now apply when a credit card payment is made using the “Add Payment” button on Registration Edit
- Credit card fees will be added to all installment payments at the time/date the payment is processed
- Credit card fees will be added to all scheduled payments, at the time/date the payment is processed
- Credit card fees will be added to guest statement payments, include any ‘process now’ scheduled payments
- There is a little extra text inserted in the scheduled payment notification email that informs the guest of this additional fee
